Sandy Yesnick attended Concordia University in Wisconsin, receiving a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Her five years of work and experience in rehabilitation include many treatment environments and levels of recovery, including acute care hospitals, acute rehabilitation centers, outpatient clinics and home health care.

She began her Low Vision training in the spring of 1999, while completing her Master Degree research project at Concordia University. After years of practice in the Low Vision field, Sandy completed a unique position and became the only Board Certified Low Vision Specialist in the state of Nevada. She presently serves as the Low Vision Specialists evaluating individuals for access to the door-to-door CAT Paratransit.

She and Dr. David Yesnick provide educational seminars on Bioptics to the entire driver examiners staff at the Division of Motor Vehicles in Southern Nevada. Additionally, Sandy has been a guest lecturer at Touro University's Occupational Therapy Graduate Program. She lectured in Low Vision to the Ophthalmology Technician's Continuing Education Seminar at the Shepherd Eye Center in 2006 and Westfield Eye Center in 2007. Sandy has also been a guest speaker in numerous radio stations and Community Centers in Southern Nevada. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Nevada Optometric Association, and a Lion's Club Member.
