Low Vision Services, Inc. is excited to introduce a versatile, pocket-sized product called PENFriend.  The PENFriend allows our patients to record, and re-record, onto individual self adhesive labels which may be applied to just about anywhere!  The labels are slightly smaller than the size of a dime.  You simply place the label on the item you would like to identify, press the record button, and tell the PENFriend what it is you are labeling.  When finished with the recording, let go of the record button and swipe the PENFriend over the label.  It will then begin reading off the recording for that label.  This product may be used to label food items, film and music collections, and other house hold objects.  PENfriend can also assist in organizing mail, creating shopping lists, or simply leaving a message for yourself.  There is no limit to recording on labels.  Patients may re-record over the labels, although we offer extra labels for this purpose.  This product is here to help people with low vision as well as the total blind.  The PENFriend is available for a demonstration in office, so come by today and check it out!
